DAILY
TRANSFERS
On the first day of fishing for each group A&B (5th/6th december), buses
will leave your hotel at 6h00. On all other days, transport will leave your
hotel at 6h15 and will return as from 16h30. Tranfers will be provided each
afternoon for spouses and guests from La Pirogue and Sugar Beach for the Tag&Release
cocktails at Le Morne Anglers Club every day.
BREAKFEAST
On fishing days, a full breakfast will be served in the Restaurant of your hotel
as from 05h00.
AIR TRAVEL
As co-sponsors, Air Mauritius would be glad to offer special airfares to anglers
and non- fishing guests. Kindly contact the Air Mauritius Sales office nearest
to your assistance.
AIRPORT
TRANSFERS
A ground agent, will meet you on arrival at the airport and transfer you to
your hotel. Please indicate your flight number on the entry from (format: MS
Word - PDF) and whether you
require transfers or not. Kindly note that should you book your own transfers,
the hotel/organising committee will not be responsible for payement of any other
means of transport. The same will apply for your departure.
ACCOMODATION
Accomodation is available throughout the competition at either La Pirogue Hotel
or Sugar Beach Resort. La Pirogue Hotel offers both standard and superior rooms
while at Sugar Beach Resort there are standard rooms located in the Manor House
and in the Sea View Villas, as well as the deluxe Beach View Villa rooms.
PACKAGE
RATES
All
package rates are commissionable and quoted per person, including VAT and are
quoted in US Dollars, Euro and Pounds Sterling.

| h) | Selected beverages of beers, soft drinks and house wines at each dinner |

The package rate for accompanying persons excludes (b) and (f) above.
COST
OF FISHING
Note that package rates do not include the fishing charter.Four days fishing
at US $ 2250, UK£ 1535 or Euro 2500 per team (prices of the boat charter
are subject to change without prior notice). The cost of the fishing charter
is not commissionable. Please note that all boats are stocked with soft drinks
and mineral water. Alcoholic beverages can be supplied on request and will be
charged for on consumption.
RESERVATION
All requests for accomodation should be made directly to Morna Berthelot, contactdetails
provided below. Once your booking has been confirmed, a full payment of the
boat charter and the package for the team and accompanying persons must be sent
based on the invoice forwarded to you. This payment will be required to reach
us within 15 days, your participation will no longer be considered. All extras
not mentioned in the package must be settled prior to departure at your hotels
reception.
RESERVATION
PROCEDURES
| a) | All
entry forms must be forwarded directly to La Pirogue on the following

| b) | Signed
entry forms must be completed in full with the team members and accompanying
person’s names, dates of arrival and departure, flight details and
credit card number (with expiry date) |
| c) | Entry
forms and bank details of payment to be sent to: La Pirogue Hotel & Casino (see contact details) |
| d) | On
receiving the confirmed bank receipt of the required full payments, the
hotel will re-confirm your entry. A copy of the entry form will be sent
to the reservations department. As from this point the reservations office
will deal directly with you for any accomodation changes. Kindly note
that for any changes effected after the 15th October, we will be unable
to confirm your rooms and your accomodatin, which will be subject to availability
in either of the hotels. |
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
| a) | The
full payment for the package rates and boat charter will be deducted from
the mentioned credit card for the entire team and accompanying persons. |
| b) | Each
team must specify if payment will be partly shared by another member.
If shared, the other memebers credit card numbers are to be indicated
on the entry form or annexed fax. |
| c) | Cancellation
fees will apply as follows: - cancellation more than six weeks before 4 Dec 03: 10% of package per person - less than six weeks: 80% of package per person. |
| d) | The
management has the right to cancel the competition with a months notice
prior to the sharing date of the competition. A full refund of monies
held, will be made. |
| e) | We
do not accept any liability or pay any compensation where the performance
of its contractual is prevented or affected by “force majeure”.
“Force majeure” means any event that we in question could
not , even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include
war or threat of war, rito, civil obedience or strife, terrorist activity,
industrial dispute, airline schedule changes, natural disaster, adverse
weather conditions, level of water, fire and all similar events outside
our control. |
